A famille verte pomegranate plate with underglaze blue decoration, 18th century, China, An unusual plate, decorated with famille verte enamels and underglaze blue with gilded decoration. The centre features a pomegranate and the border with half round cartouches featuring squirrels amongst fruits. Not marked. D 27 cm, Small rim chips and fritting. No hairlines or restoration. Some wear of the gilding and some glaze imperfections (manufacturing flaws).
