Silver plated metal, leather straps.
Superb and very old pair of spurs, they were used by the Gauchos to harness their horses during parades.
Beginning of the 20th century or earlier.
Size : 29 x 15 cm.
Very good condition except for wear and tear,
Provenance : Private collection from Lyon.
Note: These objects were brought back by a Frenchman who worked in Santiago de Chile at the Almacen Paris, the equivalent at the time of the Galeries Lafayette founded by the first French immigrants.
