Charles CORDIER 1827 - 1905 in the taste of. Bust of a young Moor also called "The Capresse of the Colonies". Black marble and onyx. On a green marble column. Height of the bust : 62 cm. Total height with column : 187 cm. Small damages and accidents, mainly on the column.
The original sculpture, made of bronze, black marble and polychrome onyx, created in 1861, is kept in the Musée d'Orsay.
