Ivory Holy Family - probably Trapani, 16th-17th Century carved elephant ivory (Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797 or Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758) and silver with four faceted coral beads, standing on a rectangular base. Height x width x depth 10 x 7.5 x 7 cm. Item condition grading: **** good (minor losses and fracture). Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Giuseppe Basirico, Trapani (pre-1947).
