Guglielmo Pugi, um 1850 Fiesole – 1915 BRUSH OF A YOUNG WOMAN WITH A HEADHAT AND A BOWL Height: 50 cm. Signed "Pugi". Alabaster. The beautiful portrait of a lady in naturalistic-aesthetic conception and good sculptural quality. The sculptor's heyday was in Florence in the years between 1870 and his death in 1915. From his hand the bust of the King of Italy, Umberto I, which was placed in the Piazza Grande of Fiesole. Other works by his hand in the historical alabaster museum in Volterra.
