Charles-Philippe de France, comte d'Artois puis roi Charles X (1757-1836).
China porcelain teapot, with polychrome decoration of flowers and fruits, the lid inscribed in ink on the reverse: "From the House of the Count of Artois (since Charles X) / Given by Mr. Gaury former valet de chambre of the Count of Artois. To (...), in Fontainebleau in 1816".

History
A certain Mr. Goeury is quoted in "L'indicateur de la Cour de France et des Départements" of 1818 as one of the four valets de toilette of the Household of H.R.H. Monsieur, Brother of the King.
