History
Henri du Vergier, comte de La Rochejaquelein (1772-1794) was one of the leaders of the Catholic and royal army during the Vendée War, during the French Revolution.
Sculptor and painter, Jean-Alexandre Joseph Falguière (1831-1900) is considered one of the creators of realism in sculpture in the French school of the 19th century.
