*Turi SIMETI (1929-2021) "TRE OVALI ROSSI", 2015 Mixed media on canvas 120 x 150 cm € 18 000 - 20 000 Provenance: private collection "The choice of the oval is partly by chance, but also the result of observation. Previously, I had used flames to produce certain shapes. I burned the edges to soften the edges of the rectangles: I burned a little here, a little there - and I automatically ended up with an oval. I always liked this shape. I also occasionally worked with round, rectangular or square shapes, but I always came back to the oval." Turi Simeti
