Ferdinand Levillain (1837-1905), rare spherical vase with two handles and antique relief decoration, brown and gold patinated bronze, decorated with antique chariots, masks, vines, musical instruments, cupids and deer. Signed on the wall as well as with the foundry mark of Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810-1892), on red marble pintle, probably formerly mounted as a lamp base, total h. 43 cm.
