Pair of Napoleon III goblets, Louis XVI style, second half of the XIX century. Pair of Napoleon III goblets, Louis XVI style, second half of the XIX century. In bronze, partially gilded. On a marble base. Measurements: 35 x 15 x 15 cm. Pair of Napoleon III goblets, Louis XVI style, in bronze, standing on a gilded bronze base, with grooved grooves as a decorative motif. The patinated bronze bellies are decorated with bacchic scenes depicting round dancing putti carrying goblets and bunches of grapes. Two expressive billy-goat masks act as handles. The bronze of the top and lid is again gilded and decorated with grooves and a knob in the shape of an acorn. Vegetable festoons, also carved in relief, complete the decoration.
