TWO NETSUKE made of boxwood, the first one representing two rabbits, one putting its paw on the back of the other, their eyes inlaid with horn; the second one representing a Tanuki hidden under a large lotus leaf, leaving only the head visible. (Small chips on the ears of the first one). Japan, 19th century. TWO WOODEN NETSUKES, JAPAN, 19TH CENTURY. HEIGHT. 3 CM (1 3/16 IN.)- LONG. 4,7 CM (1 7/8 IN.)
