LUCANIA, Thurium (410-400 B.C.). Silver distater. 15,18 g. Head of Athena on the right, wearing the Athenian helmet decorated with a Scylla. Griffin under the nape of the neck. R/ Bull charging to the right. In exergue, fish. HGC. 1-1254. A.N.S. 958. Very slight traces of corrosion. Large flan. TTB to superb. Provenance: Ravel, April 1938.
