CATANIA (405-402 B.C.). Silver tetradrachm of the engraver Heracleidas. 17,38 g. Laureate head of Apollo, front, curly hair falling freely. On the right, traces of the artist's signature. R/ Quadriga galloping on the left, led by an charioteer. Niké flying on the right, crowns the charioteer. De Hirsch 339. Gulbenkian 190. SNG Lloyd 902. One of the jewels of Sicilian coinage.
