Syracuse. Silver tetradrachm (415-405 BC). Second democracy. Attributed to the engraver Eucleidas. 16,97 g. Head of Arethusa on the left, hair raised in a sphendon, wearing earrings. Around the edge, four dolphins. R/ Quadriga galloping on the left, Niké flying on the right crowns the charioteer. Gulbenkian 294. Tudeer 84v. Excellent style. TTB to superb.
