Carpet KIRMAN-RAVER (Persia), end of the 19th century
Dimensions : 194 x 129cm.
Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on a cotton foundation.
An exuberant flower in full bloom is enthroned in the center of an ivory field with scrolls. Spandrels with cypress and imposing flowered botehs forming volutes frame the whole. Two anthracite counter borders with garlands highlight the main ivory border decorated with field flowers. (Small wear)
