VITTORIO BONAPACE, (1986, Rieti, Lazio,Italy). "2069: A Day At The Races", 2018. Digital art on Hahnemühle Fine Art Giclée on cotton (museum paper). Unique piece. Size: 42 × 23 cm. In this work we are made participants in a day of races to save the planet. A day to breathe again. In it, the Earth, apparently seems natural and safe. It is still a pleasant place to live. Apparently. The artist depicts one of the conflicts facing mankind, pollution. Therefore, in this digital art representation, all the characters wear a helmet to clean the air they breathe. However, in the face of this adversity, a young champion runs to express his hope of breathing again. A hope that comes from young people, those who deserve a better future. According to Bonapace, "This is an image that reflects the future for me. Not a futuristic vision with strange sci-fi buildings, but a community image with a completely different way of living our lives than today. Our task is to look at the structure of why we are failing as human beings. And all of us are failing. And if we don't have faith in people, what do we have faith in?".
