HIGH DECORATIVE PAIR OF VASES WITH ALLEGORIES Bohemia, Turn Teplice, Amphora-Werke Riessner, Stellmacher & Kessel, design by Nikolaus Kannhauser, c. 1900 Ceramics, cream-colored body, greenish-blue glaze, colorfully painted, enamel cabochons, gold decoration (partly hoisted). H. 28 cm. Glazed red manufacturer's stamp, 'Amphora', 'Ausrtia' and crown pressed on it, model number '0650', press number '60'. Bellied body on a round stand, the lower part decorated with a tendril motif in relief. Openwork muendung in the shape of vegetation growing over the rim. Each side with half-figured women as allegories of France and Austria-Hungary. One vase at the handles min. rest.
