The BMW R69 S is part of the 2 Series line of machines and is the most successful of them. It appeared in 1960 and became the fastest flat-twin of the brand since it can go up to 175 km/h. A high top speed for the time thanks to its flat and its 43 horsepower delivered at 7000 rpm. Produced from 1960 to 1968, 2,819 units were built. The Earles fork, the hydraulic steering damper and a flywheel to dampen the vibrations at the end of the crankshaft give a certain driving comfort. The R69 S is also distinguished by the logo on the back of the seat. The example we present is in excellent condition following a careful restoration, equipped with aluminum rims, double cam brakes and METZELER tires of 3.50 x 18 at the front and 400 x 18 at the rear. Just to note a slight oxidation on the tank.
