Starting price : 12 000 €. The KAWASAKI 500 H1 Mach III is an exceptional motorcycle that belongs without question and by right to the very closed club of legendary machines. Produced between 1969 and 1975 at 117 509 units, it was born from a top secret project of the Japanese manufacturer who wanted to offer a motorcycle with amazing technical characteristics for the time: a 500 cc engine capable of producing 60 horsepower and offering an acceleration potential of 13" for the 400 meters from a standing start! With its air-cooled 3-cylinder 2-stroke engine it could reach a maximum speed of 193 km/h. It is undoubtedly a sporty bike but beware of the braking which is its weak point. Equipped only with two-cam drum brakes at the front and at the rear, this earned it the nickname of "widow maker". It was not until 1972 that a front disc brake appeared. The car we are presenting has been fully restored, it is in superb condition, equipped with a steering damper, 2 steel rims and Dunlop K81 tires of dimensions 3.60 x 19 at the front and 4.25 x 18 at the rear.
