CENTRAL EUROPE XVIIth CENTURY
Cup probably in burr wood of amboyna mounted in silver and vermeil for the removable central part. It is set on a circular pedestal from which three hinged holding bands emerge. The border is composed of a flat handle cut out of contours and a row of wolf teeth in cut silver. The whole is decorated with a multitude of small dots representing scrolls of flowers and interlacing.
