Cap and fragments of embroidered fabric. India, 20th century
Cotton headdress entirely embroidered with polychrome silk threads forming plant motifs, and decorated with small mirrors inserted in embroidered circles. Cotton lining. Two fragments of embroidered fabric are attached, one on linen or cotton and the other on gauze decorated with golden boteh.
