Luxurious edition illustrated with 19 compositions by Adrien Moreau etched by Xavier Lesueur. Edition at 250 copies, this one of the 100 on japon with 3 states of the engravings (pure etching, before the letter with remarks and final state) and enriched with 2 BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL AQUARELLES SIGNED BY ADRIEN MOREAU AND AN AUTOGRAPHIC LETTER OF THANKS FROM BALZAC for the reservation of a table at the conservatoire. From the library of Arthur Meyer (1844-1924), creator of the Musée Grévin, with his ex libris engraved with his motto "Je chante clair" and with his special gilt iron on the tail of the spine.
