Saint John the Evangelist. In wood carved in half round, polychromed and gilded. Seated at his desk, he holds a stylus in his left hand and an inkwell in the other; elongated face, framed by long wavy hair, with eyes tapering towards the temples; he is dressed in a simple belted tunic and a cloak with a flap that comes back to the front of the knees. Lake Constance region, first third of the 14th century. H. : 48 cm - W. : 20 cm - D. : 6,5 cm. Slight accidents and missing parts.
