Patriotic donations. The extraordinary deputies of the People's Society of Châlons-sur-Marne who say that "it is important to teach the tyrants coalesced that France is inexhaustible in resource as in Patriotism; it is important to teach them that the Royalty is forever annihilated" .... They thus put at the disposal of the Nation "4277 shirts, 339 sheets, 269 aunes toile, 95 clothes & uniforms, 24 coats", etc. One tried to sow the division between Châlons and Autun, but one hopes "to reconcile the two societies and to join them in the Spirit of concord which must animate the Republicans".
