François HANRIOT (1761-1794) general, one of the main revolutionary leaders, commander of the Force Armée de Paris; having defended Robespierre on 9 Thermidor, he was guillotined with him. P.S., with numerous other signatures, Saint-Cloud 1er germinal II (March 21, 1794); 2 oblong pages in-fol. with 3 red wax seals. Leave of absence for a gunner of the National Guard of Saint-Cloud. The leave is granted to the gunner Blaise Marceau, wounded and crippled in the leg and father of a family; it is signed by many officers of his battalion, and approved by Hanriot as "General in chief of Paris"; it presents on the back many signatures of the mayor and municipal officers, as well as of the members of the Revolutionary Committee of Pont la Montagne.
