Set of six Roman goblets as a gift of honor for the German physician and hygienist Karl Kiß(ss)kalt
Colorless glass. Faceted, hollow stem. On the dome in each case coats of arms of the respective country of origin of the physicians and natural scientists in extremely fine polychrome enamel painting as well as dedications in gold painting, dated. Berlin 1910: Stepan Vasil'evic Kors(ch)un and W. Favre from Russia, Ekrem Hairi from Turkey, Papas from Greece, F. Solari from Uruguay and A. Erlandsen from Norway. Gold-margined. Dated. H. 19,2 cm.
Karl Kißkalt (1875 - 1962) worked at the Robert Koch Institute and Charité in Berlin from 1904-1912.
