Blued barrel, with remains of gold inscriptions "DONNE PAR L'EMPEREUR" and "N" under imperial crown, engraved "A Mr Simon Sous lieutenant au 52e régiment de ligne" and "Ecole normale de tir (...) d'instruction". Lock signed "AURY ST ETIENNE" and engraved iron fittings. Carved stock with rocaille decoration.
