Large standing figure
The face is full of serenity and follows the canons of beauty of the classical art of the great city of Teotihuacan.
It has the particularity of having a rectangular cavity on its bust which must have been inlaid in the past. Located at the level of the solar plexus, it underlines the importance of this zone of the body which concentrates all the energies. A high headdress with a headband decorates her forehead and participates in the clever geometrical play that makes up this sculpture.
This type of offering was placed near ceremonial centers. The quality of execution and the size of this hieratic figure indicate the importance of the place of worship.
