Iran, Safavid art, 17th-18th century.
Set of 90 tiles, consisting of 62 solid tiles, 42 with linear bands, 14 with L-shaped angular bands and 6 square; and 28 fragments of varying sizes. In siliceous ceramic with black line decoration and colored glazes on a white background, decorated with interlacing, floral motifs and a series of interlocking yellow and blue fleurons.
Condition : Several chips, small missing pieces, fractures.
