This amaranth chest of drawers comes from the former Altounian collection (see fig. 1) It is topped with a Northern Breche marble top and opens to three drawers on two rows of curved crossbow. The keyholes are hidden under a rich rocaille ornamentation. The falls and the sabots which join through a small baguette with grenetis underlines the camber of the feet. A shell with leafy scrolls decorates the apron.
