PROVENANCE Collection Mme P.
This chest of drawers, remarqueted with flowering and leafy branches of violet wood on a satinwood quartefeuille countertop in amaranth frieze frames underlined by gilt bronzes, opens to two drawers without a crossbar.
Capped with a tray in Aleppo breccia, it has an elegant crossbow profile and rests on four arched feet.
The gilded bronzes are enriched with fine leafy stems in a perfectly mastered play of curves and counter curves. We note the lines of the amaranth frames that follow the contours of the bronzes.
