Rare croix de l’Ordre de Saint-Stanislas de 1ère classe à titre militaire pour non-Chrétien in gold 56 zolotniks (583 thousandths) enamelled translucent red on guilloche bottom of grains of rice, the center decorated on both faces of the Russian imperial eagle enamelled polychrome with a crown of laurel on the obverse, between the branches four double-headed eagles resting on two crossed swords. Good condition. Saint Petersburg, 1869-1882. Goldsmith : Julius KEIBEL (Supplier of the Imperial Court, 1862-1882). L. 6 cm. Gross weight : 32,7 g. Provenance Probably given during the Russo-Turkish war (1877-1878).
