In-8° full vellum of the time (Missing the title page, all the introductory leaves dedication, preface, summary). This copy is incomplete and starts at page 1 which is restored with paper missing on the upper part, and ends at page 332 (chapter xviii). This copy has 7 full page woodcuts, one of which is repeated, depicting Indians. Some pages are detached, bound in full soft vellum at the time. Attached to this copy is the reedition published by Lemerre in 1880 with an introduction and notes by Paul Gaffarel. 2 vols. In-12° paperback, xviii, 218 pp. 214 pp. Good condition.
