LARGE ROMAN PERFUME BOTTLE EUROPE OR NEAR EAST, 4TH CENTURY A.D. blown glass from a three part mould, of sky blue colour, standing on an applied foot ring, the ovoid body with fine diagonal ribbing, the long neck with thin trailed glass running up its length and terminating in a ribbed neck, four large arched handles run from the shoulder to the midsection of the neck and a further four miniature looped handles run from the upper neck to the rim (19.5cm tall) Provenance: The J.L.
