Funerary slab in limestone, carved in high relief with a recumbent figure of a knight with a shield (Charles de Carpentras?), resting his feet on a reclining lion. The recumbent is armed and dressed as a knight, hands clasped in the position of prayer, feet resting on a lion. Observing the recumbent, one can see that the sword he carries is quite unusual and unknown to knights of his time in the West, and for good reason, since it is said to be of Chinese origin. The hilt of this sword has similarities with a sword used in China in the Middle Ages. France 15th century. Dimensions : Height : 49 cm - Length : 207 - Width : 71 cm. Weight 900 KG. Approximately.
