Attributed to Jean-Baptiste Lerouge (Paris, received master in 1749) Two armchairs to the Queen that can form a pair, in molded and carved walnut. The crosspiece of the backs is carved with foliage, rocaille and flowers. End of the Regency period. Height 96 cm, length 70 cm, depth 62 cm (slight variations). Provenance : - sale in Lille, Mes Mercier, Velliet, Thullier, April 27, 1980 - collection from Touraine. Two late-Regency period carved and molded walnut armchairs attributed to Jean-Baptiste Lerouge. Slight variations between both.
