Aubusson, 18th century Four-leaf screen with music trophies in tapestry, wool and silk, cream background, with polychrome decoration of music trophies with strings or wind, in a garland of flowers with poppies, border of a figured frame (wear, restoration). The tapestry leaves decorate a screen frame, Louis XVI style, in molded wood and decorated with pearls. The back of the screen is lined with leaves of yellow taffeta pleated and bordered with a braid. Leaf: Height 99 Width 35 cm. Frame: Height 116 Width 42.5 cm. Total length. 170 cm. A 18th century Aubusson tapestry screen depicting musical instruments. In a Louis XVI style wooden frame. Provenance : sale Me Savot, Orléans, June 6th 1985, n°158.
