Architectural case with mahogany veneer, alabaster columns and brass decorative fittings. Scenery-like base with mirrored back panel. Top with flanking sphinxes and eagle as top. Single-door guilloché brass dial with floral relief and Jacquemart, white enamel wreath with black Arabic numerals and railroad minutiae. Lateral train for repeater. Pendulum movement (function not tested) with thread suspension and striking mechanism on two tone springs, with hour repeater. Vienna, around 1800-1820. 70x 43x 17 cm.
