GEORGES ROUAULT Dompteur et l'écuyère, 1929, lithograph, 35.5 x 28 cm, margins 50 x 32.5 cm (Chapon et Rouault 329, Verney-Lemarsquier 95 i/ii), a fine and rare first state proof before various works, signed and titled, dry stamp of the Galerie des Peintres-Graveurs (Lugt 1057b) and state identification stamps Lugt 2921b and 2921c, probably about ten proofs in this state and about twenty proofs in all, not examined out of frame.
