A Regency garnet and split pearl cannetille brooch, A Regency garnet and split pearl cannetille brooch, with a foiled garnet, claw set to the centre. Radiating cannetille bars at the compass points, with twisted wires and graduated beadwork, split pearls and scrolls between, to a brooch pin and 'C' catch, damaged. Tested as approximately 15ct gold. 35 x 31mm, 6.13g Condition Report: One fleur de lis finial deficient. One split pearl deficient. Solder at the hinge possibly soft solder. Visible inclusions to the naked eye.
