Portal clock in Empire style France, around 1820, enamel dial marked. ''Armingaud Jne/A PARIS'', Roman hour numerals, Breguet hands, plate not marked, strike on bell, ornamental pendulum (on thread suspension) in form of torch bearing cupid boy, the stand as socketed 2-column portal of red marbled stone with gilded bronze applications in form of rosettes, eagle grips, drapery and vase crowning, HxWxD: 38/23/9 cm. Not tested for function. Clock glass and vase cover missing, chips, gilding rubbed, dial with fine scratches/hairline cracks.
