Royal table clock with hinged numerals display and leather case circa 1900, time indication by finger pointing symbols on rotating hinged numerals for hours and for minutes (Arabic numerals on white leaves), spring wound movement, unmarked plate numbered, the box shaped clock case with tubular clock glass, brass base (hallmarked PATENTED IN ALL COUNTRIES) and hinged handle on brass lid marked EVER READY/CHRONOS/CLOCK, H: 13 cm (+ handle), D: 8,5 cm. Comes with made leather case with embossed monogram Wilhelm II King of Württemberg, bottom side embossed GEO.D.KNIPP KGL. HOFLIEFERANT/STUTTGART. Provenance: from the estate of Prince Ulrich zu Wied, descendant of King Wilhelm II, from the Marienwahl, Ludwigsburg. Not tested for function. Signs of use/case slightly rubbed.
