Important funerary figurine (mingqi) of a court lady in dress with white slip and remnant of polychromy. The hands, which were probably made of wood, are missing. CHINA, Han dynasty (206 BC-220 AD). H: 66.5 cm (some accidents and missing parts, restorations especially on the head). Provenance : former personal collection of Mr Bellet, expert in archaeology and Asian art in Paris.
