Exceptional showpiece vase, Meissen, 2nd quarter 19th c. Porcelain, amphora shape with volute-shaped curled double handle with cornucopia decor and applied female masks. Square base. Rich gilding. Neck, body and foot richly painted with wreaths of forget-me-nots and colorful flowers. At the drain ribbonwork border in gold. Gold rim. Gilding slightly rubbed in places, footplate corner and edge bumped. Sword mark with number ''I'', incised model no. ''U (o. V) 74''. H. 38 cm Magnificent porcelain vase with rich gilding and polychrome flower paint, double handle with maskarons, Meissen, 2nd quarter of 19th ct. Minor damages at foot. Sword mark. H. 38 cm
