467. "A rosewood and mahogany veneered chest of drawers on a frame, chased and gilt bronze, royal red marble top, Transitional period Louis XV - Louis XVI circa L. 132 - Dep. 58 - H. 92 cm (marble damaged - crack) Transition period chest of drawers with central recess, opening with three drawers, decorated with broken stick friezes in rosewood veneer for the upper drawer and fern friezes with Greek corners for the other two drawers and framed with mahogany veneer friezes, separated by block nets. It rests on small Louis XV feet, in the prolongation of the uprights with cut sides and is decorated with chased and gilded bronzes: rings of pulling, entries of lock, sabots, falls and apron, characteristic of the Neo-classic taste. Capped with a royal red marble top with a leave profile.
