JAPAN, MEIJI PERIOD (1868-1912) Large horned porcelain and polychrome enamel vase decorated with a rooster and a hen near bamboos on one side and a hen and her chicks near bamboos on the other side, the base underlined with stylized lotus petals, the opening decorated with phoenixes alternating with paulownia flowers in blue above coral and brown foliage scrolls, the body enhanced with two angular handles, the interior of the opening decorated with chrysanthemums and paulownia.
