JAPAN, MEIJI PERIOD (circa 1860-1880) A pair of Imari porcelain plates, decorated with blue, coral and green, with gold highlights, peonies and bats in a central medallion, the wing decorated with reserves alternating birds and flowers with floral motifs on a background of stylized foliage.
