"Shepherd with dog".
Bronze.
Measurements: 41 x 35 x 19 cm.
Bronze sculpture made in a rounded bulk which represents the figure of a small boy holding a dog in his hands, which rests its head on his knees. The piece has been conceived with a 360º view, with the intention that it should be observed by the spectator following the perimeter of the round base. The rear area is worked in the same detail as the front area. It is worth noting that this type of work became very popular during the 19th century, with a developed middle-class bourgeoisie seeking to decorate their family environments with works of art that reflected taste, cultural knowledge and social status.
