Pair of vases; France, 20th century. Painted and gilded porcelain. Size: 32 x 18 x 11 cm (each). Pair of French vases that stand out for the sinuous lines of their aesthetics. Both pieces present the same design, where a French inspiration remains. Each vase is supported by a trapezoidal base with a square perimeter, on top of which is the tall body. It shows a painting of an interior, in which young people in elegant dresses are reading, while at the back a still life of colourful flowers is the protagonist. The intense green of the background and the gilding of some parts of the piece make it remarkable as a whole, with the golden handles in the shape of a swan's head being of particular interest.
