Table clock; France, late 19th century. Marble. Measurements: 23 x 43 x 35 cm. French table clock in a refined classical style, with no decoration other than the fine moulding of ovals that separates the base from the body and the chromatic contrast obtained by combining white marble and black Swedish marble, with a beautiful veining in shades of green. The circular dial, with a gilt frame in relief, is bordered by a classical counter moulding and features black Roman numerals on a white background and delicate Breguet-type hands.
